Chris started as a developer for Dark Roast Media in March of 2010. He brings with him three years of post graduate experience developing web apps for Alberta's booming oil and gas industry. Prior to that Chris has worked as a freelance web developer during his post secondary education. Chris graduated with a B.Sc. in Computer Science and a focus in game design from the University of Calgary in 2006.
 
Chris' main areas of interest are real time 3D graphics programming, game development, and web development with its limitless possibilities. Chris enjoys playing PC games, especially those that employ the latest in 3D graphics technology. Outside of tech, Chris loves to spend time hiking and camping in the Canadian Rockies. He is into fitness and nutrition, and is a regular at the gym and the local climbing center. He loves fast cars and you will often find him in the garage tinkering under the hood. Chris also makes a fantastic mojito.
