Joe has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Dark Roast Media since 2004. Joe began his career in 2001 as an Investment Banker at Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. Inc., a boutique investment bank with a focus on middle-market and emerging growth companies. At Ladenburg, Joe executed seven transactions representing over $300 million in the media, telecommunications, biotechnology, energy, and real estate sectors.
Prior to founding Dark Roast Media, Joe served in sales, marketing, and business development capacities at infoUSA, which offers full-service sales and marketing solutions through proprietary business-to-business and business-to-consumer databases. Joe graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Business Administration from Babson College with concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship.
Oren has served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer at Dark Roast Media since 2011. Prior to Dark Roast Media, Oren worked with MTV, Comedy Central, Random House Publishers, and dozens of other leading companies in the advertising and entertainment industry. Oren brings to Dark Roast Media over 15 years of experience creating and crafting brands, campaigns, and products across a wide variety of channels and mediums.
Oren’s award-winning designs have always pioneered the possible while remaining grounded in the tried and true principles of visual communication. Oren is bilingual and speaks English and Hebrew.
Oren graduated summa cum laude from Parsons the New School of Design.
Kathy is a PMP-certified project manager at Dark Roast Media. Prior to joining Dark Roast Media, Kathy served as the Operations Manager at Madison Avenue Couture, overseeing e-commerce merchandising and marketing operations. Kathy has also worked in a variety of e-commerce and production roles at Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, and Alice + Olivia, where she developed a wide range of knowledge and skill sets in e-commerce and marketing.
Kathy holds a B.S. in International Trade and Marketing from Fashion Institute of Technology and an M.S. in Integrated Marketing with a concentration in Marketing Analytics from New York University. Kathy is fluent in English and Korean.
Gabby Rojchin is the Director of Business Development at Dark Roast Media. Gabby brings over 30 years of experience as a business leader and brand strategist, including serving on the Executive Creative Team for the internationally acclaimed Supon Design Group. In 2002, Gabby founded SUMO Creative, a design and marketing heavyweight in the Washington, D.C. area. For over a decade, Gabby grew SUMO Creative before it was acquired by Streetsense, an experience-focused strategy and design firm. Following the acquisition, Gabby served as a Managing Partner at Streetsense for over seven years, managing global sales, marketing, and customer care.
For more than 26 years, Adam’s skills have been employed by major companies that include Coca-Cola, General Motors, Apple, and Nike. While working in the music industry, Adam founded a company that produces mobile applications designed to engage ‘in-crowd’ culture. The most successful of these was SongBooth. Adam was instrumental in driving over half a million downloads in the first month.
After a successful exit from SongBooth, Adam worked with some of the top brands and agencies in the country, connecting with consumers through storytelling and unique experiences that resonate with users both on and offline. Adam graduated cum laude, from Drexel University, with a B.S. in Marketing and Management Information Systems.
Scott has been working in media and print as a director of photography and still photographer since 2006. He has worked with a diverse group of clients over including BBC, Bloomberg, CBS, HGTV, PBS, Shake Shack. Scott brings to Dark Roast a creative energy that has been integral to many successful projects and recognized in the industry with two academy award nominations.
Scott has a BS and MA in economics and education respectively from Fairfield University.
Chris is an Art Director at Dark Roast Media where, using his multidisciplinary expertise, he has created striking brand identities for over twenty companies in the real estate, hospitality, financial services, tech, and consumer products industries. Chris excels in all print and digital mediums, and particularly at creating clean visual messaging and impactful campaigns. Chris work can be seen on accounts including LeFrak, Bozzuto, Sea to Table, and more.
Specializing in social media, community engagement, audience development and multimedia journalism, Andy has held a wide variety of roles as a digital leader in Philadelphia’s suburban local news market, including Executive Editor of Main Line Times and Regional Digital Director of Digital First Media Philadelphia.
Andy holds a B.A. in English and Communications from Cabrini University. He graduated on a Sunday and started working as a journalist the very next day, quickly moving from a staff writer position to the very first online editor for The Ambler Gazette and Montgomery newspapers in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
Trevor has built and contributed to brand identities for packaged goods, celebrity clients, real estate developments, hospitality, tech, nonprofits, and more. Before Dark Roast Media, Trevor began his career at Landor Associates, where he was part of the core identity team for Fannie Mae’s 2015 rebrand and explored strategy for Coca Cola’s global campaign “Taste the Feeling.”
Having grown up in Michigan, Trevor wears the title of Midwesterner proudly and insists that “it’s really not that cold out, you guys.” Trevor graduated from Western Michigan University’s Frostic School of Art with a B.F.A. in Graphic Design.
Born and raised in Kyiv, Ukraine, Ana is a Designer at Dark Roast Media where she has been an integral team member supporting a diverse set of clients and projects from broadcast commercials, experiential installations to brand developments and more. Her work has won awards and has been featured in major publications including Fast Company, New York Times, and more. At Dark Roast Media she has worked with numerous clients including Estée Lauder, Bozzuto, LeFrak, Luca + Danni, Sea To Table and many more.
Ana graduated with distinction from Pratt Institute with a concentration in Digital Graphics. She also holds a B.S. in Management with a concentration in Investments and Innovations and an M.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Anastasiia is fluent in English, Ukrainian and Russian.
Fah is a Sr. Designer at Dark Roast Media where she has excelled in creating powerful brand identities and campaigns across a variety of mediums, with a focus on UX and UI. Her work with LeFrak, StuyTown, and Estee Lauder have been recognized by the New York Times, Fast Company, and other publications. Prior to Dark Roast Media, Fah worked on projects ranging from book publishing to multi-language e-learning tools for both U.S. and international companies. She has also worked on award-winning projects for clients such as DFS Group, Netflix, Microsoft, and Cartier.
Fah graduated Summa Cum Laude from Maryland Institute College of Art with a BFA in Graphic Design. Fah is fluent in both English and Thai.
Antwan is an award-winning writer and University at Albany alumnus, with a B.F.A. in English and Journalism. As a member of the Dark Roast team, Antwan’s work can be seen in copy for brands that include Bozzuto, LeFrak, StuyTown, Luca + Danni, Jed’s Jerky, and a host of others. Antwan’s work can also be found on IMDb, Amazon Kindle, LifeHack, LiveWriteThrive, and Flash Fiction Magazine.
Joanna first joined Dark Roast Media in 2019 and has been working on various projects including website UX/UI, brand development, illustrations, video production, and collateral design. Under direct supervision of Art Director and Sr. Designers, she’s had the opportunity to work with clients from numerous industries such as real estate, technology, CPG, and fashion.
Joanna graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a BFA in design and was on the Dean’s List for many semesters. Before moving to New York City, she lived in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Toronto. Joanna is bilingual in English and Mandarin.
